The BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) observed World Environment Day 2025 with a two-day programs held on 24-25 May 2025, led by the Department of Environmental Science in affiliation with the BUFT Science & Environmental Club, under the global theme "Ending Plastic Pollution. Managing Director, RED was present as a Special guest and given a presentation in a Seminar on "Empowering Next Generation to Best Plastic Pollution".
